Our **Dayshift Hygiene Crews** carry out a variety of cleaning duties to industry standards in our factory, facilities & offices. Applications are invited from those who can demonstrate excellent team player skills as well as an ability to work on their own initiative. Previous hygiene experience is highly desirable, however training will be provided.

This role is a mix of industrial cleaning (including on occasion, allergen cleaning), as well as some office and facilities. Completion of required checklists and following routine schedules. There will also be requirements around sampling/Ph testing/disinfection tunnel testing.

As this role will involve the use of chemicals and cleaning machinery/equipment, you will ideally be aware of HSE requirements and basic risk assessment.

+ Experience in working in industrial hygiene, or a closely relatable role
+ H&S experience is desirable but not essential
+ Physical abilities suited to the role/reasonable fitness levels
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ At least a basic understanding of verbal and written English

**What does the job involve?**
- There will be times when you will be wearing waterproofs and wellington boots
- Use of various hygiene machinery and tools and chemicals to aid cleaning
- Testing and allergen cleaning
- Dealing with incidents such as spillages, as well as routine cleaning
- Cleaning of toilet facilities and replenishment of stocks
- Hand washing facilities replenishment of paper towels & soap
- Stock management of cleaning materials
- Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish
- Cleaning site facilities including canteens, kitchens, offices and meeting rooms
- Cleaning of walls, floors, and locker facilities

**Where could your future lie?**

Many people come in at Hygiene Operative level and work towards promotion to **Hygiene Controller. **Or from dayshift, a move into nightshift where you are more involved in the cleaning of our state of the art production machinery.

Moves into a corporate role via a Modern Apprenticeship or promotion are sometimes available.

There is also a wealth of opportunities internally once you are on board that can take you in any direction you wish to consider.

So there is progression for everyone who has the drive and ambition to make a career at Kettle Produce.

**Essentials to Consider**

Non-UK Residents will be asked to supply their Home Office Share Code prior to attending any recruitment event.

We are a 364 days a year company, closed only on Christmas Day.

**We are unable at the present time to offer shifts suitable for students with any restricted working hours during term time (usually 20 hours).**

Fri & Sat 06:30 - 17.30
