**Warehouse Supervisor, Harlow, Essex**

Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the UKs leading manufacturers/distributors within bathrooms industry. Do to company expansion, they seek an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work fom their Harlow depot in Essex to assist in the ongoing operations of the site.

**Overview**:

- To manage all site, stock and distribution depot activities, providing an efficient professional delivery and collection service to all customers
- To ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, and Road Traffic regulations
- To lead and motivate the depot team whilst managing costs and budgets
- Managing a team of 6 or 7 drivers/warehouse/FLT staff

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and motivate the depot team whilst managing costs and budgets
- Manage and optimise the depot cost centre - includes all site activities, such as staff, export and import activities where relevant to the depot
- Manage operational productivity, and accuracy of depot operations
- Accountability for all stock accuracy and quality within the depot
- Ensure quality of local delivery operations exceeds targets
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed as requested ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly completed by drivers & warehouse staff
- Work with other teams and management, to implement strategic company initiatives within the local depot operation
- Ensure compliance with external regulatory and legislative requirements including Health & Safety, and Road Traffic regulations
- Ensure procedures are in place for maintenance of all vehicles, equipment and aspects within the depot
- Control and implement necessary and mandatory policies and procedures, to maintain company and legislative standards, ensuring staff awareness and understanding by all depot staff
- Promote a positive Health and Safety and quality-oriented culture within the depot
- Engage with area sales personnel to develop new business growth
- Any additional duties as required by the business

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- A Full UK driving licence
- A Counterbalance fork lift truck licence and/or licence to drive assisted lift equipment
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification (or good knowledge of)
- Prior work experience in a supervisory/team lead role is essential
- Prior experience in a Warehouse and freight handling operation is desirable
- Prior experience in managing a budget is desirable
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as an understanding of ERP systems, is essential
- Start up experience advantageous

**Package & Hours**:

- £26,000 starting salary
- Annual Pay Review
