This is an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly expanding finance team within the private aviation sector as the company continues its journey.Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be accountable for the integrity and accuracy of the TB and allsupporting records and ensuring processes are adequate for financial control and compliance across the business.As a new position within the business you will have the ability to create your own stamp on this role.
Key responsibilities as financial accountant will include:
- ensuring integrity and accuracy of the TB and associated ledgers, completeness of balance sheet reconciliations and AR and AP ledgers
- capital asset registers
- assisting the FC in liquidity monitoring and forecasting
- assisting the FC in the management of supplier settlements, payment runs and payroll runs
- working closely with the FC and MA in the development of understanding costs and to assess new business opportunities
- reporting and monitoring of performance accurately against budget, forecasts and plans
- assisting the FC in the preparation of monthly management accounts and provision of detailed analysis of performance, trends and variance
To be successful in this role as Financial Accountant you will be qualified (ACA, ACCA) with around 5 years post qualification experience and ideally have worked in a similar role within the aviation or freight industry in a multi-currency environment. Youwill have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Excel along with the ability to convey complex data in a concise and easy to understand way for non-financial managers.
