As the Mechanical Supervisor at Campact Limited, you will work closely with the Mechanical Engineer as their authorised deputy. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing maintenance programs, producing engineering procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and maintaining plant and equipment. Additionally, you will support recruitment, training, and development of mechanical personnel, promote safety awareness, and uphold efficient operations.

**Your Tasks**
- Undertake a comprehensive training program, to be able to understand every aspect of the mechanical engineering requirements within Campact. To operate the company support systems and ensure they are properly used and maintained. To attend any further training / development courses as required.
- Effectively plan and execute maintenance programs
- Produce comprehensive works procedures & detailed risk assessments to manage the risks associated with planned and unplanned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols (company and legislative) within the mechanical engineering department.
- Assist in onsite works where required.
- Effectively maintain plant and equipment (including utility services) to ensure that it is fully operational and meets production requirements 365 days per year. Provide support to the manufacturing areas when required within budgetary and timescale constraints.
- Plan, install, commission equipment as required under direction of mechanical engineer.
- Support in ensuring a suitable availability of required essential spare parts.
- Contribute to maintenance works and capital project planning and installation as required.
- Provide out of hours support to the facility.
- Maintain an orderly administrative system for the section, ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
- Operate as a member of a team helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency.

**Our Requirements**
- Time served mechanical maintenance engineer (minimum NVQ3 or equivalent).
- Significant experience in working in chemical, process or manufacturing industry.
- High standard of IT competency.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience or ability to supervise a team.
