**Job Title** - Part Time Catering Assistant

**Area** - Irvine

**Hours of Work** - The successful applicant will be expected to work weekdays and some weekends. 15 hours one week, 22.5 hours the following week on rotation. In addition, you will be expected to do part shifts and additional hours to cover busy periods and annual leave.

**Wage** - Meets minimum/living wage. Negotiable depending on experience.

**Experience**
- Experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Hygiene certificates preferred but not essential.

Customer Service experience preferred but not essential.

Driving Licence preferred but not essential.

**Job Description**
- The Chuck Wagon was established in 1980 and has stood the test of time.

**The successful applicant should**:

- have experience in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard.
- be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food safety, ensure quality food production and maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
- be an excellent team player.
- be willing to learn new food preparation, cooking skills and procedures.
- be able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment whilst maintaining high standards.
- have a warm, outgoing personality.
- be able to demonstrate that excellent customer service and satisfaction is paramount.
- be clean and presentable.
- be willing to serve customers, operate a till and handle cash.
- be willing to carry out cleaning tasks regularly.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
