Confident and with the ability to prioritise as part of a small team, you will assist the Bursar with the preparation of monthly and termly management accounts, budgets and projections. Role:
This is initially for 2.5 days per week (flexible days/hours to be agreed) year-round. The Finance Officer will work as part of a small team and make an active contribution towards the objectives of the school and support the Bursar in all financial activities. This role would suit a part-qualified or AAT accountant or a person with relevant experience.

**KEY Responsibilities**: Assist the Bursar with production of monthly and termly management accounts, budgets and projections.

Working as part of a team the role will include:
**Accounts Receivable/Credit Control/Payroll/Administration**
- Management of the Sales Ledger processes and procedures,
- Administration of the School Fees Ledger ensuring correct allocation of fees and discounts to individual pupils
- Weekly recording and monthly reconciliation of Petty Cash
- Maintain termly reconciliation of fees billed; including accurate record keeping of bursaries and scholarships
- Produce monthly debtors reports as well as providing updates on debt collection and concerns
- Administration of credit schemes or payment plans for parents
- Ensure accurate and timely postings for month end reporting
- Support with year-end audit as required
- Undertake daily bank postings and monthly bank reconciliations
- Administration of all Pupils Insurances (e.g. Healthcare, Absence, Personal Accident)
- Inputting of staff salaries and payroll
- Preparation of other financial reports as reasonably requested by the Bursar
