**The Company Overview**:
Butler rose are partnered with a fast growing, ambitious Charitable Trust in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. My client is looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance in a newly created role, who will form part of the recently assembled Leadership Team tohelp deliver their 3 year business plan. As a not-for-profit organisation they have a passion for improving health and wellbeing and support their local communities to live well and for longer. This fantastic opportunity would be ideal for a like-minded Financeprofessional with a social heart and positive energy who can bring the organisation's values to life.

**Your new role as Head of Finance**:
**Your duties will include but are not limited to**:
Input to and delivery of Business Planning & Strategy

Collaboration with the Board, CEO & Management team to achieve key targets

Contribution to strategic, governance & operational documents

Oversee Financial Management, Management accounts, Statutory Accounts & returns, Procurement, Assets & Investments, Stock inventory etc

Lead on cashflow forecasts and provision of accurate financial information across the business

Proactively work on annual, medium & long term plans across all business units

Preparation, analysis & presentation of monthly & quarterly accounts to the Leadership Team, Committees, Trustees & Commissioners

Lead on major systems developments, upgrades & future requirements across the business

Identify & measure social return on investments, alongside commercial/financial returns

Lead partner on external audit, funding/grant providers etc

**The Experience & Qualifications Required**:
Leadership, Management &Organisation skills with significant experience at senior management level

Experience of successful business planning & budgeting

Experience of setting strategic direction by developing & implementing corporate strategies & policies

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, developing respect & trust

A genuine interest in people with the ability to form strong relationships at all levels

Ability to manage high volume, pressurised workloads, complex situations & tight deadlines

Have a dynamic, passionate & proactive demeanour and ability to take ownership of decision making

Effective interpersonal communication, public speaking & presentation skills with the ability to be articulate, concise, compelling & diplomatic

Strong business acumen & evidence of balancing commercial & social value

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)

A salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on level & experience
