**This is an apprenticeship position.**

**You will be required to undertake a 12 month training programme, which you will be awarded a Level 2/3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.**

**Job Purpose**

To support the Credit Control team through administrative needs. You must be flexible, patient, always going above and beyond for your team and the clients you will be speaking to on a daily basis. The role Is based at our offices in Otley, Leeds.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Actively checking the ledger for reconciliations and credit increases where needed daily / weekly.
- Sending controllers bank updates 3 times daily - Morning/Lunch/Afternoon.
- Responsible for onboarding new clients and ensuing those accounts are set-up accurately by contacting these clients. - Checking Experian reports on clients before requesting credit checks from insurers to make as we can selfunderwrite.
- Escalating accounts where agencies have requested higher limits, but the insurance advises a maximum to management team to review.
- Chasing remittances for unallocated cash on the ledger with the assistance of the controllers.
- Assisting outsourced team with morning allocations by sending remittances and reviewing account allocation before posting onto ledger.
- Escalations to management where required for agency disputes on credit limits. - Additional Support to the Legal Team

**Hours and environment**: Full time, you’ll work 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Monday to Thursday 9:00 - 17:00, Friday 9:00 - 16:00
