**Job Purpose**:
As our Wayleave Officer, you will be negotiating wayleave agreements with land and property owners, to allow us to build our network within agreed timescales. You will mostly be liaising with and reassuring potential customers (predominantly face to face), but you will also be negotiating with property management companies, public bodies and legal partners for both residential and commercial premises, securing the legal agreements needed. You will act as a “champion” for MS3 in those discussions, selling the benefits of the MS3 Network and associated services, ensuring that take up is maximised in any planned network build.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Negotiating wayleave agreements, easements and access agreements with landowners, property management companies and other third parties
- Visiting and negotiating wayleave agreements and access agreements with residential and commercial property owners, to allow us to maximise network build and customer connections in all areas we have a presence
- Forge strong relations with internal and external stakeholders & third parties including Local Authorities
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders (including our board and investors) on progress to allow timely and effective network build and customer connections
- Report on progress against key delivery targets
- Where needed, support survey and planning visits to enable agreements to be secured
- Be responsible for the continuous improvement of our Wayleave management processes, tools and repositories

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A tenacious self-starter with a hunger to “close the deal”
- An excellent negotiator
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Effective stakeholder management
- Ideally worked in the FTTP / Telecommunications industry with a proven knowledge of the wayleave challenges faced in building network and connecting customers
- Calm and collected when under pressure with excellent organisational skills

**Essential Qualifications**
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in a telecommunications or tech company would be desirable
- 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English
