The Diabetes Midwife Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated midwife with a genuine interest in diabetes to work within their multi-disciplinary team.

This role will involve working alongside and supporting the Diabetes Specialist Midwives (DSM) within the current busy diabetes service which delivers specialist diabetes input alongside midwifery care in multiple antenatal clinics and in patient settings.

In addition, the successful midwife will also be actively involved in supporting the DSM team to plan and arrange diabetes education for midwives and junior doctors, participate in clinical audit and develop diabetes care pathways and guidelines.
