**Unskilled Slaughter Operative**

**Pay: £12.59 unskilled**

**Shift Pattern: Monday To Friday**

**6.45am to 5.30pm (2 x half hour unpaid breaks)**

CK Meats, a family-run business with a 200-year heritage and an award-winning reputation, is looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team of Unskilled Slaughter Operatives.

CK Meats is one of the UK’s leading British pork producers located in the heart of Suffolk countryside. We are now part of the wider CPC Foods Group and International food company Tönnies.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Assisting senior slaughter operatives in their work carrying out various tasks
- Moving carcasses into walk-in fridges
- Ensuring the factory remains clean and tidy
- Working on a pork slaughter line and being responsible for preparing pigs for food production
- Handling the animals and raw meat
- Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations

**Skills and Qualification**
- A good understanding of verbal and written English
- Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided

**What we can offer you**:

- Unskilled Operative - £12.59 per hour
- Overtime will be paid for any hours worked over 45 hours per week at time and a half
