**Role: Mental Health Practitioner**

With over 15 years of experience, Medical Staffing is a leading medical service provider operating across the UK. We are currently seeking a compassionate Mental Health Practitioner with primary care experience to work ad-hoc or long term shifts, in and around the Liverpool area.

**The duties** of the role may vary from time to time depending on current and evolving workloads and staffing levels:

- Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions under the guidance of licensed professionals.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

**Key requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and treatment protocols
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in a team setting
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation purposes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Freelance

Pay: £17.00-£32.00 per hour
