This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician, with experience of working in children’s services, to join our CAMHS team on the Isle of Wight. The IOW NHS Trust community CAMHS team is CQC rated Good, the team is a multidisciplinary team of 40 staff who provide services to children and young people on the Island that are experiencing emotional health and wellbeing difficulties.

We are looking for an experienced clinician in children's services to take up the role in community team to ensure the service continues to deliver good quality, compassionate care.

To provide a Systemic Family Therapy service to the Isle of Wight within Community CAMHS in a framework of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working. To be provided both autonomously and in an integrated model. Based on highly specialised and broad ranging knowledge and skills providing high quality evidence based practice using the full range of relevant theoretical models.

To provide consultation to our partner agencies and work alongside colleagues in the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive CAMHS to the community.

Job Statement

To provide specialist systemic assessment and intervention to children adolescents and their families, and to support the Multi-disciplinary team assessments providing a Family Systems perspective for children and young people.

Provide a systemic focus within peer supervision and facilitate and support systemic work undertaken by other team members through teaching, joint work, including direct live team supervision.

**To provide teaching in a variety of formats**: workshops, seminars, presentations, groups, for other child practitioners including GP’s, paediatric staff, adult mental health, psychologists, nurses and primary mental health workers, according to the trusts training initiatives.

To take an active part in the development of a systemic service using models of brief family therapy and systemic intervention appropriate for supporting families in the community who are experiencing issues related to their emotional health and wellbeing.eg. Family breakdown, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders or a combination of mental health difficulties and complex family dynamics.

Develop professional liaisons with adult services to address needs of children and families with complex mental health problems exacerbated by parental mental health issues in line with the Joint Working Protocol(4LSCB). Also to provide appropriate transition as adolescents move to the Adult Mental Health services
