We are looking for a **full-time Draughtsperson / Planner **to join our busy Contracts Team to support projects.

- **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**_
- Produce general arrangement drawings for client approval, detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with agreed timescales required for individual projects.
- Communication/liaison with main contractors, architects and engineers through the design phase of the project.
- Liaison with customers and estimating department to ensure our designs meet with client requirements and are within budget.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Undertake design calculations for ensuring the safety of company products striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design.
- Keeping abreast of latest building regulations and statutory requirements to ensure product compliance.
- From time to time attending project design meetings, either on site or at customers offices/project sites.
- Assisting with the smooth day to day running of the business.
- Liaison with company suppliers to refine product design.
- To be fully adherent to, and supporting of, the company’s software system
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with the ISO 9001 accreditation, both written and electronic
- Maintaining good client and supplier relationships.
- Follow up to ensure confirmation of approved drawings is provided by the client.
- Communicating with clients and colleagues to ensure clients delivery expectations are maintained.
- Maintaining good client and supplier relationships.
Location Eaton Socon, St Neots - with occasional site visits
- **Must haves**:_
- Must be prepared to travel and hold a full UK driving license.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant design experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of latest building regulations and statutory requirements
- Competent in using software based project management systems and MS Office suite of programmes.
- General understanding of building structures and the building industry.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
