Main purpose of the job:
To provide efficient, effective, accurate and responsive administrative support service for the Registry Office with high levels of customer service to students, staff and external parties. The role of the Registry

Administrator is to work flexibly within the team and offer the highest levels of customer service to both external and internal users of Registry. They will assist with all aspects of work within the Registry Office but will be expected to undertake specific tasks relating to curriculum set-up and duties during key times of the year.

Main duties and responsibilities**:
1. To play a key role in induction and registration procedures and to take an active role in helping to organise enrolment.

2. To participate in maintaining paper and electronic student records including information concerning student registration, assessment and awards; filing and archiving paper student records as required.

3. To advise staff and students in respect of the enrolment processes and regulations.

4. To be a Registry lead in relation to allocator (OMS).

5. To take responsibility for programme, module and student set -up in QLX and QLV4

6. (Including by remote record transfer)

7. To liaise with collaborative partners in respect of student and programme information.

8. To maintain curriculum data on sessional and static databases.

9. To produce data integrity reports and take action on errors.

10. To monitor the accuracy of data imported into the student records system.

11. To work in close collaboration with Academic Schools / Faculties, Academic Registry and other departments to ensure the accuracy of the student record.

12. To assist in organising the summer and re-sit examination periods including examination papers, timetable; seating plans, attendance; invigilation and special examination needs for individual students.

13. To perform administration in support of the University Awards & Progression boards and communicating decisions to students and staff.

14. To gather and disseminate information on request from the Senior Registry Officer and Deputy Academic

Registrar.

15. To undertake any other requirements commensurate with the seniority of the post/as required by the head of department.

- This appointment will not require a DBS check. 
- The annual leave entitlement is 25 days p.a. additionally there are 3 - 4 days when the university closes for Christmas.
