School Crossing Patrol

**We are recruiting a School Crossing Patrol at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**:6 hours, 15 minutes per week
**Contract Type**: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only
**Location**: Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Caerffili

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Transport Strategy and Road Safety teams.

**We pay an attractive salary of £12.18 - £12.38 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

The post is for a School Crossing Patrol Monday to Friday for Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Caerffili which will consist of two shifts per day, one at the beginning of the school day and one at the end. The crossing site is situated sited on Pontygwindy Road.

You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with management, parents, learners and the school successfully.

You will comply with our policies and ensure regulations are adhered to, within the School Crossing Patrol Guidelines and Handbook.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- A good understanding of road use and traffic awareness
- Good communication skills
- The ability and willingness to undertake training as required within the role
