Duties & Responsibilities:

- Adhere to local liquor laws.
- Keep the bar and restaurant area tidy and clean.
- Be able to carry a variety of drinks.
- Be friendly and approachable. To greet customers as they enter.
- Know how to serve liquor and beer safely and with confidence.
- Have a basic knowledge of wines and be knowledgeable about how different wines pair with different foods.
- Take food orders and deliver food to tables
- Able to use a coffee machine is desirable
- Able to use own initiative
- be able to work as part of a team
- be flexible
- Be reliable and punctual
- Hardworking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Familiarity with the food industry or hospitality is a plus

Pay: Age appropriate minimum wage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.30-£10.50 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Bar
- Café
- Restaurant

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paignton, TQ4 6NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
