This is work with a fun and outgoing lady in Maryport. Lady has 24 hour care and would prefer a female carer. She likes to get out and about and has her own care so it is preferrable that you drive.

**Duties**:

- Provide assistance and support to an individual in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments and assist with transportation
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship

**Skills**:

- Experience in assisted living or brain injury
- Knowledge of nursing home or home care procedures and protocols
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

As a Personal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individual in need of care. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing support and assistance to others. If you have experience in senior care or assisted living settings, we encourage you to apply.

Please note that this position may require working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The ability to adapt to changing schedules is essential. We usually work 2 our of 4 weekends but these are set to allow you to plan around them.
