**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled Tachograph Technician to join our team. As a Tachograph Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tachograph systems in vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. **Responsibilities**:

- Install tachograph systems in vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on tachograph systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with tachograph systems
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Assemble and weld components as required
- Use schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations
- Conduct equipment repairs and adjustments as necessary
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools and calibration equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
- Be based within the Greater Manchester/Lancashire area
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

**Package**:
39.5hrs per week with lots of available overtime, no weekends, some overnight stays. Salary is up to £16 per hour.

**Salary**: £15.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bury
