Want to work somewhere warm and welcoming with a close and responsive team?
- Eligibility for blue light savings at many supermarkets, shops and restaurants
- referral programme in place if you are referred by current employee
Our carers work as a team to deliver high quality and person centred care to our residents, helping them make the most of their stay with us.
As well as helping with personal care you will also record care, undertake activities with residents and help feedback observations to the senior care team, which can then be used to plan care. As the person delivering the care your observations will be valued and your incites into a resident will be listened to.
A dedication to record keeping is important as is a warm and caring outlook. Our manager and deputy manager will support in any aspects of the role where you feel you could benefit from their input, both have been in post many years and have a wealth of experience to share. Ideally you may have your NVQ level 2 in social care but if not dont worry we can help you access fully funded training to get it through a local college.
Our care home is family owned and run, with a long held reputation for warm and welcoming care. We are rated as good across the board by CQC and as a non-corporate provider we makes choices focussed on our residents and there wellbeing, not targets and quotas. We invest in our team with plenty of training available and delivered by a person not just quizzes online, time spent training is paid for as are uniforms and pre-employment checks.
We can help with access to wellbeing resources for staff and are always available to talk, as a small organisation we are personal and not faceless. You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday each year (inc. public holidays).
