Trojan Crates Ltd is a family-owned business producing bespoke packaging products based in Aberdeen City. Established in 1979, we provide timber crating and custom packing solutions to the North Sea & International Oil & Gas, Subsea and Freight Forwarding industries.

A large portion of our business involves the manufacture of Bespoke Flight Cases & Timber Products. We are looking to strengthen our Sales Team.

As the Sales Coordinator for the company, your aim will be to grow sales, predominantly through creating new business, whilst maintaining a high standard of service for our existing clients.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to contribute to the achievement of sales targets by supporting our sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships.

The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.

Our preference is a minimum of 2 years similar experience in a sales role. You will also be a strong team player and will work together within the business to meet our customers’ requirements

**Sales Coordinator Responsibilities**:

- Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.
- Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining filing systems so as to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
- Hiring and training sales staff and ensuring staff meets their quotas and goals.
- Managing budgets for expenses like bonuses, marketing, and travel.
- Making the company's products and services as attractive to potential customers as possible.
- Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.

**Requirements**:

- A proven track record in business sales and administration.
- 2 or more years’ experience in sales.
- Experience as a sales coordinator or in sales administration may be advantageous.
- Good team development skills and proactive attitude.
- Good administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
- Current knowledge of timber and crating industry trends and regulations would be advantageous.

This position is mainly office based in Dyce but regular visits to our Torry Head Office Aberdeen, with weekly online teams meetings, including customer locations as required as well as attending corporate events.

A salary of around £23,000 - 29,000 per annum depending on experience, with a probation period of 6 months. Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4.30pm.

What you will need
- At least a year’s experience working in a B2B or B2C role in any sector
- To be IT literate, with experience using various business platforms
- To be comfortable with cold calling
- To be outgoing with great people skills
- The ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner that everyone understands
- The ability to work well within a fast paced (and exciting) environment
