**Job summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional individual to work as part of the Renal Technical Services department at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) NHS Foundation Trust, providing a technical support service to the renal hemodialysis machines, reverse osmosis units and other associated medical equipment's at the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital, Satellite units and in patients' homes.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Main duties include commissioning, servicing, maintenance, repair, installation, modification and

upgrade of all dialysis and associated equipment's within all the Trust site, patient homes and those

of any sites of any external contracts operated by the Renal Technical Services Department.

Other duties to include water sampling at units and patient homes as necessary hence knowledge

on water treatment systems and water quality for hemodialysis is highly desirable.

Taking part in the departmental Out of hours on call Rota system.

A full category B car driving licence is essential for this post.
