We have an exciting opportunity for a tradesperson to join our team in Liverpool. The role is permanent and is days based, (Monday-Friday) and is for 37.5 hours per week.

You will be working in a flexible manner as part of an integrated manufacturing team to maintain and repair equipment and buildings.

This is a great opportunity for someone with facilities improvement/lubrication experience. This role will enable us to renovate the site and improve equipment reliability. We anticipate that the lubrication activity will account for approximately 25% of the role. The remaining time will be general building maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the engineering manager the person will be responsible for (but not limited to), the following:

- Upkeep of the lubrication schedule on site and ensuring stocks are correct.
- Reporting issues with equipment on the schedule to ensure timely repairs.
- Complete general repairs in a timely manner.
- Aid engineering in completing breakdowns and larger tasks on site
- Will be thorough, professional and care about the safety of yourself and others.
- Will demonstrate that you always care about delivering a high-quality service and have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles.
- Will be able to demonstrate ownership, results focus and task completion.
- Will be adaptable and flexible as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and plant.
- Will be able to communicate effectively to ensure tasks are planned and materials sourced to maintain continued output.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Have experience of maintaining buildings and have a core trade skill.
- Would ideally have experience of lubrication systems and methodologies (though training will be given)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and an inquisitive nature.
- Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
- Relevant experience of working in a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Experience of using Shire/Pirana PM systems.
