VAN SALES MERCHANDISER PIECE OF CAKE (UK) LTD - 13.03.23

JOB OPPORTUNITY TO THE RIGHT MINDED PERSON
Perform scheduled service calls to convenience stores and outlets within designated area
You are expected to manage volume sales taking into account rate of sales and wastage. ALL PRODUCTS ARE SUPPLIED
ON A SALE OR RETURN BASIS - Computerised delivery documentation
MERCHANDISING - is offered as part of our service and you have a duty of care in store so please be aware of customer flow
A good customer relationship is both demanded and expected and compliance to specific client instructions whilst in store is expected
MONDAY - FRIDAY is scheduled working week. Start Time dependant on store opening time (Usually 6.30/7am at first call)
Finishing Time is when your scheduled journey has been completed to everyones satisfaction
LONGER DAYS- These are generally the days you return to warehouse and pick and load your van (MON/THURS) in general and working as a team you can expect to leave the warehouse no later than 6pm
ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS to be reported immeditely and the appropriate logging/form filling carried out as soon as viably possible - Accident/incident forms are in the warehouse next to the firstaid kit - IF IN STORE -the stores accident book MUST be completed. Back at warehouse please complete a corresponding incident report form
HOLIDAYS - 25 DAYS p.a. - This includes one week taken over Christmas during our annual shutdown.
Holiday payment is Basic only (Does not include commission)
BANK HOLIDAYS - If worked are paid at double time

Team Player
- As a small company each member of staff is key to our success and you will be expected to assist your collegues should situations arrise that need your support

Full uniform (inc. safety shoes) is provided and MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES whilst on Piece of Cake business

You are supplied with a suitably kitted out vehicle which is your responsablity to treat with respect and report back any issues. Full RAC cover with relay is provided should the need arise. A spare vehicle is on hand should it be required to use it whilst your vehicle is in for repair. Provided you have a safe location you will take your van home and start your day from home address returning to our TONBRIDGE Storage facility each Monday/Thursday afternoon for loading up

PAY STRUCTURE

BASIC PAY: £18,946.20 p.a.

COMMISSIONS: 2.5% On all Cake & Bread rsv 2.5% On all Biscuits sell in price

Pension Scheme through Smart Pension Scheme (Employer Cont.3% Employee Cont. 5%) Ave £75pm
Current OTE for journey offered - £26500 p.a.
Sick Pay at POC UK discretion 14 days
Ave take home pay £1800 p.m.
