Our client is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will be responsible for all Purchase Ledger duties from start to finish reporting into the Group Finance Manger. The client offers hybrid working and looking for a self-starter who can also deliverprocess improvements.
Key responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk:

- Responsible for supplier invoice processing across a number of regions, notably the UK, US and Europe
- This role encompasses supplier invoice posting, managing payment runs, reconciliation of supplier statements & payments, management of the purchase order process, general ledger reconciliation, credit card and expense reconciliation as well as resolving vendorqueries
- Posting invoices across different regions in multiple currencies (both overheads and cost of sales)
- Producing, reviewing and processing fortnightly payment runs as well as other one-offs
- Reconciling supplier payments, including commissions
- Managing the purchase order process, producing PO's, ensuring approvals are in place and comparing with budget
- Reconciling cost of sales card expenses and supplier statements by using Excel to analyse large volumes of data.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc internal or external queries
- Customers will be; Internally - Financial reporting team, Operations. Externally - Suppliers
Key requirements for the Purchase Ledger Clerk:

- Organised in your approach to tasks and able to prioritise effectively across different work
- Display a high standard of work and demonstrate ownership of tasks, meeting deadlines
- A team player and flexible in your approach
- Have drive, pace and energy to make things happen
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in your work
- Strong Excel user with the ability to manipulate data in spreadsheets and use standard formulas
- A willingness to learn and try new things with a can-do attitude
- Ability to analyse large volumes of Excel data and experience using additional functionality to find efficiencies is desirable
