Are you a passionate people professional looking for your next opportunity? Longfield Community Hospice is looking for a new Head of HR. We are looking for the right person to lead and develop our HR function, ensuring it is a centre of excellence in its own right.

Reporting directly into the CEO, this role is pivotal during an exciting phase of transformation. Your influence and experience will be crucial in shaping and implementing strategic HR initiatives that ensure people are at the centre of everything we do.

Familiar with delivering both strategically and operationally, the right person will be adept at handling complex matters and able to evidence delivering creative solutions to people issues.

With responsibility for developing our new HR strategy, this role is ideal for an existing Head of HR, or an experienced SHRBP/ HRBP. It is an incredible opportunity for a forward thinking HR professional to develop and implement a fresh approach within an inspirational organisation.

We are looking for someone who will provide strategic leadership for the HR function and technical delivery of the HR service.

The role enjoys hybrid working and an enviable office location and will be responsible for leading and developing Longfield’s people function.

Longfield is a community hospice charity, in a beautiful setting near Stroud. We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting illness in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care. We support people to live well after diagnosis through a range of day services for them and their loved ones and, when the time comes, we provide hospice at home care, enabling them to have the choice of dying in the comfort of their own home. We also provide support to their families and carers, including bereavement counselling.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £47,000.00 per year
