**County Supervisor**

**Salary**:Scale 12 - 17 starting at £26,421 per annum with a 6% employer pension contribution

**Hours**: 37 per week Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm

**Base location**:Branch based mainly working at Coalville and Hinckley with occasional home working and travel to other County branches. Main base TBC

**Employment type**:Permanent

**Purpose of Role**:
We are looking for someone with a background in Advice work or team supervision, who wants a varied and rewarding challenge and would like to play a key role in delivering a high quality advice service to the people of Leicestershire. You will be working primarily in our Hinckley and Coalville offices with regular opportunities to work from home if you wish. There will be an occasional requirement to attend other Leicestershire branches to provide cover and attend face to face meetings.

You will be supervising a mixed team of volunteers and paid staff who deliver advice services through a variety of formats, but primarily over the phone and face to face. You will be providing both remote and in person support and feedback to our Advisers and Assessors. Your duties will include coaching and mentoring, organising workloads, researching complex queries and filling in any service gaps as they arise.

**Qualifications/Skills Required**

This role works really closely with the County Service Manager and would suit a confident team player with excellent communication and IT skills. Full training will be given in all areas of advice and in using our content management system.
