Join Our Growing Team as a GMP Cleaning Operative

We are currently seeking two individuals to join our friendly team and be part of our National Cleanroom Cleaning crew. Key Details:

- Role: GMP Cleaning Operative
- Location: Various sites across Cornwall and the Southwest
- Salary: £24,000 per annum (salary may vary based on skills and experience)
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (8-hour shifts), with 30 minutes unpaid break
- Additional Work: Occasional weekend work and overnight stays may be required based on customer needs

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure GMP cleaning is performed as per customer requirements
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards in designated areas by following work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist the team leader in preparing reports
- Regularly inspect and report any faults or defects in equipment and machines used during the working day
- Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy and promptly report any hazards to the GMP Cleaning Team Leader
- Attend relevant training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by the GMP Cleaning Team Leader/Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Good physical health and a full driving license
- Willingness to wear full uniform and PPE at all times
- Ability to work in isolated areas and follow strict dress codes relevant to GMP standards
- Basic IT literacy

Desirable:

- Experience in a similar industry
- Team player with a flexible approach
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Familiarity with GMP and quality systems
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience cleaning and servicing machinery, such as liquid handling systems
