St Michaels resort is a 4-star luxury spa hotel & resort in Falmouth, Cornwall with stunning sea views, sub-tropical gardens and a state of the art health club. The purpose-designed Spa opened in August 2018 with the largest Hydrotherapy pool in the south-west, two steam rooms, indoor and outdoor saunas, a Rhassoul suite, deep relax room, champagne nail bar, 10 treatment rooms and deluxe changing rooms.

Pool Cleaner Main responsibilities:

- Maintain a neat and clean pool area and water at all times and perform everyday vacuuming and cleaning of the pool.
- Clean the pool floor and walls using proper chemicals.
- Use swimming pool vacuum cleaners to clean the pool floor.
- Clean and disinfect drain pipes to make certain that no clogs are apparent.
- Maintain the pool pumps and filters.
- Regularly test swimming pool water quality and pH balance.
- Maintain proper chemical balance in swimming pools.
- Responsible for safe and proper handling and mixing of pool chemicals; ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Codes.
- Maintain the pool area including cleaning of the deck
- Ensure all guest toilets are clean and smell fresh.
- Ensure all showers are clean and smell fresh.
- All toilets to be fully stocked with toilet paper and toiletries.
- Ensure all guest changing rooms are clean and smell fresh, lockers clean, stocked with robe, towel and flipflops and closed.
- Ensure that towel baskets are emptied regularly.
- Ensure all tiled floors (swimming pool, Reception and corridor, changing rooms) are hoovered and mopped on a daily basis and carpet in reception and deep relax are hoovered.
- Ensure all floor mats are clean.
- Ensure bins are empty.
- Ensure window sills wiped.
- Ensure all glass windows are clean.
- Dust and wipe walls, doors, and table tops, walls to be kept mark free, all doors to be washed down as necessary.
- To follow and complete Spa area cleaning daily check lists.
- Familiarise with all the functions happening in the hotel.
- To act upon guest requests and special requirements where necessary.
- Any maintenance to be reported to Spa operations supervisor and/or Spa Manager.
- Follow procedures for all waste disposal and recycling.
- Undertake other duties, which may be allocated from time to time

**MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & SUNDAY 06:00am-10:00am**

Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
