We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Temporary Staffing Bank. This role will support our Inpatient and Outpatient teams located in our Little Aston Hospital, Sutton Coldfield.
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
The position involves a variety of tasks, both clinical and non-clinical. The clinical aspects include working alongside the Inpatient Physiotherapy Team with post-operative patients in order to prepare them for discharge home. There will also be clinical involvement with the Outpatient Physiotherapy Team - working in a supportive role in the management of post-operative rehabilitation of patients who have undergone an orthopaedic procedure.
**Who we're looking for**
- Experience in Physiotherapy or in a Healthcare environment is highly desired
- A confident, patient focused and enthusiastic individual who can be flexible and adaptable
