**The Role**:
In the Software Engineer role you'll report to the Operations Manager and will be primarily accountable for designing, configuring and overseeing the installation of control system hardware and software in production / manufacturing environments.
Specific tasks include:

- Production & modification of HMI / PLC / SCADA software
- Installing, modifying and commissioning of control panels and associated process equipment
- Costing and quoting for your projects
This is a part site / part field-based role covering the Bristol / M4 region.
To be the right person for Software Engineer role you will need a background in HMI / SCADA configuration.
We also need you to have prior experience of:

- Electrical process design
- Client interaction
- PLC software development (ideally Allen Bradley or siemens)
- Real-time computing
It's important that you have an electrical degree (or equivalent qualification) and are effective at managing build and install type projects.

**The Package**:
The basic salary for the Software Engineer role is circa £50,000 per annum plus the usual benefits at this level.
