**Job overview**:
The post holder will be required to provide appropriate and effective resuscitation training to all grades and disciplines of staff throughout the Northern Care Alliance and in line with the current Service Level Agreement.

**Main duties of the job**:
Successful applicants will be supported to complete further Resuscitation courses and to undertake Instructor training if not already an established instructor. A current ALS Provider certificate would be an advantage.

Applications are welcome from professionals with a recognised statutory qualification. You will have experience working in acute or critical health care and have a keen interest in education and in Resuscitation. If you are keen to develop personally and professionally and want to be supported within a dynamic team we can offer an interesting, challenging development opportunity.

You will be based Oldham Royal Hospital, but will need to travel to throughout the Northern Care Alliance sites to work with departmental colleagues. A current driving licence is essential.

This post will require applicants to work occasional long days so flexibility is essential.

- Evidence of recent CPD

- Teaching qualification
- Provider status in any of the following - ALS, APLS, EPALS
- Instructor status in any of the following - ALS, APLS, EPALS, GIC, ILS, PILS

**Registration**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Registered healthcare professional: 1st level nurse, ODP, Paramedic.

**Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- 2 years post basic experience in an acute setting with experience in resuscitation practice and procedures.
- Advanced airway skills (sub-glottic)
