**Insurance Administrator Role**
**Overview of the Role**:
A key member of the Veterinary Team, the role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clients and associates of the Veterinary Practice.
**Line Manager**: Practice Manager
**Duties & Responsibilities**
**Insurance**
- Process all insurance claims
- Process claims submitted via online portals eg Animal friends & Petplan
- Allocate insurance bac's payments
- Contact insurance companies to chase outstanding claims or client queries
- Ongoing review of the Practice protocol for insurance and the customer journey/ communication
- Process refunds if required after the insurance company have settled
- Make sure **all the Team are following the process of claims and are** aware of the practice procedure, especially Direct claims - direct consent forms signs, excess and co payments paid prior to claim being sent.
- Allocating payments to the Practice Manager’s system via the online or text payment method on the global portal platform
