**No Limits is the leading youth services charity in Southampton, supporting children and young people in the city and across Hampshire.**

**The No Limits Emergency Department and Social Prescribing Team work across the five main hospitals in Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Basingstoke and the Isle of Wight, with Next Steps project workers based in the community within Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and the Isle of Wight.**

We are looking for a Youth Worker to join the Basingstoke team, working in the community and occasionally within the Emergency department, providing intensive one to one support. Our growing team of Youth Workers are caring, collaborative and courageous professionals, committed to empowering children and young people to achieve positive changes in their lives.

More specifically, you will be working within our Next Steps project helping with violence reduction. This includes case held youth work for young people involved or at risk of becoming involved in serious violence, providing intensive community based one to one support for up to six months.

The successful applicant will provide direct support to children and young people in Basingstoke by helping the young person to connect with specialist support and other community services through Next Steps.

**Role Terms**
**Salary**:Band D £25,904 to £28,720 (Full Time Equivalent, pro-rata for part time)
**Hours**: 7 to 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours typically between 9am and 5pm)
**Working Arrangements**: Based in Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and community locations across Basingstoke. Some training/meetings may be required occasionally in Southampton.
**Contract**: Permanent
