Job title: CNC Operator
Location: Worcester
Hours: 06:00 - 14:00, Monday - Friday
Pay: £13.13 per hour
Contract: Permanent
A leading manufacturing company based in Worcester (Blackpole) are searching for a CNC Operator to join their team working Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00.
The company themselves are a leading manufacturer in their industry.
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operates computer numeric-controlled heavy machinery and carries out other duties as required
Oversees machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle its assigned load
Setting up Machinery to ensure it is ready for the shift’s tasks.
Load and unload materials manually or with hoists & cranes depending on the weight.
Ensures Welding, Drilling and punch operations are carried our correctly.
Inspecting Machines for Mechanical and Safety issues.
Ensure Machines are kept stocked up through the shift.
Maintain records on the shift productivity and performance.
As a CNC Operator, you will be required to:
Previous experience working as a CNC Operator will be essential.
Previous experience working as with Machines and in Manufacturing will be essential.
Ready and willing to work overtime when required by the business.
There will be a physical aspect to this role.
Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
