**Impress North East Limited - CNC Miller**

Impress Group has established a reputation for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted and laser cut components to customer’s specification.

Due to an ever-expanding order book and customer base, we are looking to employ an experienced CNC machinist on a full time basis.

**Job role, responsibilities & requirements**:
Working within a predominantly in a low to medium machining area this role is to program, set and operate CNC Millers with Siemens controls.

Impress are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual who is keen to learn and get involved in all aspects of our growing machine shop. Due to the type of work, you will have excellent tooling knowledge and the ability to ensure cutting strategy suits a mixed volume production. With a high attention to detail, this role will require an engineer to be fully time served and skilled in CNC milling.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**
- Must be time served
- Ability to program Siemens controls would be a positive
- Highest standards of H&S and Quality are essential
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
- Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys including Inconel & duplex
- A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
- A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team

39 hours over 4 days with consistent overtime available

Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:15pm
- **Overtime**:_

Tuesday to Thursday 5:15pm - 6:15pm

Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

**Benefits**:
