We have an exciting opportunity for a kind and creative **Early Years Teaching Assistant** to join us on our journey. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in fostering a love of learning in our youngest learners and supporting students with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower students to reach their full potential.

This position is contracted on a **30 hours per week Term Time Only**. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.

**Please note the hours for this position will either be an early shift 7.30am - 1.30pm, or a late shift 11.30am - 5.30pm.**

- To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment.
- To provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground activities.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a school environment.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.

Due to the city centre location of Crown Street Primary, there is no dedicated staff parking available. The site is however accessible via great public transport links, tram and train stations are located within a 6 minute commute (0.6miles) of the school. In addition we have a wide range of employee benefits available to support public transportation, including an interest free loan for the purchase of annual travel tickets and a Cycle to Work Scheme. Furthermore we provide onsite secure cycle parking for staff.

Pay: £18,420.00-£19,381.00 per year
