Tradewind are currently recruiting for a qualified primary teacher to teach within an intervention role at a school in the Farnworth area. This role would be supporting students from Year 1 to Year 6, with a focus on Maths and Literacy. This role is dueto begin as soon as possible and end at the end of the academic year. The role is full time and school will pay a generous salary of £125 to £185 a day.

This two-form entry CofE school was recently graded 'good' by Ofsted in all areas and was particularly praised for the strong leadership within the school and the high proportion of children attaining and exceeding the expected levels in Maths and English.The school have strong Christian values and the students at the school are happy, friendly, and eager to learn.

**Intervention Teacher Roles & Responsibilities**
- Building relationships with students, other staff members and parents
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to gain knowledge and understanding of children's abilities and attainment levels
- Use assessments and data to find and plan for gaps in learning
- Plan and teach interventions focused on Maths and English to support children to reach the expected standard at the end of the academic year
- Have an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum, including phonics
- Report back to class teachers on whether children have met learning goals

This role would be perfect for an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their experience across the school, or equally an experienced teacher looking for a change.

**Essential requirements for Intervention Teacher**
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
- Have experience teaching in Primary Schools in the UK
- Recent experience in KS1 and KS2
- Provide a CV covering full employment history with any gaps explained
- Provide professional references supporting teaching experience
