Baker/cake Decorator

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures as needed
- Decorate and present finished products in an appealing manner
- Clean and maintain baking equipment and work area

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a baker or cake decorator
- Knowledge of baking techniques and principles
- Familiarity with different types of flours, yeasts, and other baking ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Creativity in designing and decorating cakes
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy ingredients or equipment

Note: This job description is for a position in a restaurant setting.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
