**Introduction**

Virtua UK are looking to complement its existing team with additional Wi-Fi Survey Engineers to support its continued growth across the UK.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Reporting to a Project Manager, the Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys and gathering onsite data to formulate into appropriate network solutions. The roles and responsibilities of the Wi-Fi Surveyor include but are not limited to the below:
**Key Activities**:

- Conduct passive and active wireless site surveys of both new and existing sites.
- Conduct wireless surveys across a range of both indoor and outdoor deployments choosing the best tools for each scenario.
- Conduct basic cabling surveys of new and existing fixed infrastructure to support cost estimates.
- Produce active and passive site survey reports with clear explanation of key results.
- Perform site hardware audits.

**Required Experience and qualifications.**
- Experience of working within a Telecoms environment, specifically Wireless Networking
- Vendor Survey tool Accreditation along with wireless Industry Accreditations.
- Installation and project delivery experience
- Ekahau predictive and post install surveys
- Hands on in Wi-Fi network optimization for high density outdoor, warehouse, production units, stadiums, or enterprise environments.
- Understanding of latest Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E, WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.
- Experience in site survey tools like Air Magnet or Ekahau.
- Managing wired and wireless networks (Aruba, Extreme, Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti)
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and databases.
- Strong commercial acumen & communication skills (internal/external).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines.
- Full Driving License.
- Self-starter and proactive, with the ability to work independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
