Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Reading (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 6 Months

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a global telecommunications company who are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer who can offer experience with Data Centre Infrastructure to join their organisation.

**Accountabilities**:

- Experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Networking administration, installation, and configuration.
- Hands on experience in provision of APIC, Leaf, Spine devices, Cisco N9K series Switches
- Good knowledge and experience on ACI Components, ACI Fabric Discovery, ACI layer 2 & 3 Traffic Flow, ACI Access & Fabric Policies Concepts
- Configuration and Troubleshooting ACI Constructs - EPGs, BDs, L3outs, Multiple VRFs, Multi-Tenant, TEP, Profiling, Contract, Filter, APIC Controller, ACI in band and OOB management
- Experience on Migration from traditional networks to Cisco ACI architecture
Hands-on experience designing and configuring various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP IGRP, HSRP, RIPv1 & RIPv2.
- Hands on experience with complex QoS and VLAN configurations and designs.
- Micro level technical project management for engineering requirements and responsibilities
- Design and deploy state-of-art technology to meet the customer's business needs
- Interface to the project management team regarding technical planning and network issues,
- Provide input for forecast and plan resource allocation
- Act as the direct interface to customers on advanced design solutions
- Develop white papers for designs specific to the customer's network inclusive of Business solutions

**Skills**:

- Possess in-depth Juniper & Cisco knowledge with MPLS network architecture and design disciplines, operational support familiarity, previous and current extensive hands-on implementation, and thorough configuration knowledge and capabilities for all platformlevels.
- Have very strong customer interfacing background, as well as superior oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive technical writing skills are a requirement.
- In depth knowledge of all routing protocols (For example: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRF), Traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN, multicast & class of service.
- Disciplined and oriented in practice of and adherence to process and procedures.
