WRT Logistics is looking to expand the team and add experienced Self-Employed drivers for a new contract just about to start.

We are looking for experienced drivers to join the team. We are looking for those with experience of either large item multi-drop or 2 person delivery. Van & fuel provided. Must be physically fit due to nature of products being delivered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a company van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor & use app/hand held devices
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the van to ensure its safety and functionality
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with warehouse personnel, customers, and other drivers
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

MUST BE 25+ for Insurance purposes and able to commute to/from East Kilbride. Owner Drivers would be able to report direct to loading sites.

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
