**The Role**
This role will support senior members of the R+D team, working with the Senior Flavourists initially to learn the business and grow into the role, before eventually taking over control of your own projects and junior members of the team to mentor. You will pro-actively create new and improved existing flavours against quality, cost and legislative requests from the customers and for the businesses flavour library. This will involve both savoury and sweet flavours across a product range of food products. Organoleptic assessments of competitor products must be carried out as well as the study of new trends to keep ahead in the flavour industry. This role will have the chance to manage a team and train them in development techniques and raw materials.
You will also be involved in legal compliance and manage relationships with external bodies.

**Personal Profile**
- Several years of proven experience as a Flavourist, ideally a chemical flavourist with both sweet and savoury experience.
- Project management skills
- Food industry knowledge
- Creative and passionate about the food industry
