Mobile Cleaner

**About us**
To provide a cleaning service for building cleaning clients. You will be provided with a Council vehicle to attend sites so will require a full UK driving licence (collect / drop off from the Alps Depot).

**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 1, SCP 2, £10.90 ph

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday.
- 2 positions x 15 hrs/week (52weeks)
- 2 positions x 12.5 hrs/week (52 weeks)

Main Place of Work: Mobile

**Description**:

- To assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients
- To cover other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, staff shortages and other absences.
- To occasionally assist the chargehand /Site Supervisor with the training of cleaning staff.
- To undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as; carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, all site specification cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning and other cleaning not normally stated in the site specification.

**About you**
You will need:

- Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry or a cleaning related discipline/environment
- Basic understanding of the various cleaning tasks required to provide an efficient and effective premises Cleaning Service
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to converse with members of the public and client officers.
- Be physically able to carry out manual and active labouring duties.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and undertake duties in an effective manner
- Positive and self-motivated with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changes in priorities and demands.
- Be prepared to work irregular hours.
- Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate
