A vacancy has arisen for a capable, enthusiastic, and personable warehouse operative. Reporting to the Inventory Manager based on site, the role has a key focus on control and working with our procedures and protocols at Feltham to provide an end-to-end warehouse solution for NSC clients. Within the team the core tasks centre on managing intake and the flow of goods through to despatch; scanning devices, resolving any discrepancies, directing couriers appropriately. The warehouse team arrange picks and despatches expeditiously and with care. Housekeeping is increasingly important from the management of equipment to ensuring to goods are stored securely and the aisles and the pick-walks work to flow goods in an efficient manner.

The position would suit an individual who believes in accuracy, getting things right first time, looks to always improve and how to support the business deliver effectively for customers.

**Responsibilities**:
**Core Tasks**:

- Use of the Microsoft Navision ERP system (full training given) for Logistics activity and booking transport
- Screening manual input sheets from Project Managers for completeness of information in raising pick or delivery requests,
- Liaison with Project Managers and Sales Managers with regards to planned stock movements
- Scanning goods in, matching to delivery notes, put-away, picking, labelling, moving goods to operations areas or to location, arranging despatch,
- Physical stock checks to the perpetual inventory system
- Daily review of inbound queries
- Merging stock to create space (housekeeping) and enabling the easy flow of goods through the warehouse,
- Linking to the procurement teams to ensure suppliers deliver in a quality assured manner with accurate paperwork matching physical goods arriving,
- Adherence to warehouse procedures and to H&S training
- Ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:
**Essential Experience**:

- Spreadsheet and basic clerical skills
- An understanding of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Navision
- A Forklift driver would be an advantage, though training will be given in full,
- Logistics experience - perhaps having worked for a freight forwarder / 3PL provider / in a warehouse environment (stock counts, intake, pick and despatch routines) or having carried out administrative work (raising POs, inventory maintenance)
- Focus and attention to detail to deliver accurate, complete, and timely consignments.
- Good communication skills in liaising between inventory control and the warehouse on all consignments to clients - all of whom are important to us.
- Living within reasonable distance of the Feltham warehouse
