Brewer

**Key Accountabilities**
- Raw material intake, stock rotation and stock checks
- Brewery and general maintenance
- Wort production on our 25hl brewing system
- Filtering and carbonating beer
- Packaging beer into 30L and 50L stainless steel kegs
- Cellar checks and reporting on all fermenting and conditioning beer
- Yeast pitching, cropping, dry hopping and other cellaring jobs
- Cleaning and maintenance of the tanks and vessels
- Participating in tasting panels for benchmarking our beer
- Assisting with preparing deliveries and orders
- Adherence to quality assurance procedures and specifications.
- Maintaining brewery hygiene and effective reporting of defects.
- Adherence to health and safety legislation.
- Input with regards to recipe formulation and new product development.
- Training junior production staff where necessary and ensuring all relevant records are kept up-to-date.

**Experience / Skills**
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a commercial brewery.
- A relevant qualification in brewing or brewing science is desired
- Capable of physical work (able to move malt sacks & hop boxes
