We are a rapidly growing Maths and English tutoring business. Our aim is to help our students develop into their best selves by learning to study independently, quickly and accurately.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic person to join us and spearhead the development of our hybrid classes, integrating multiple Kumon Connect digital students in the main class over zoom. This is a new role within our team, so is a great opportunity for the right individual to help grow and develop both within this role and the business.

Working Pattern:
Tuesdays 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Thursdays 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Saturdays 9:00am
- 12:00pm

**Additional hours will be available as the role develops.**

Rate of pay: £11:00 - £13:00 per hour, depending on experience

**Applicants must be aged 18 year or older.**

**Title: Digital Class Assistant (Correspondence Students)**

**Location: St Francis Church Hall, Beatrice Road, Salisbury, SP1 3PN**

**Responsible to: Senior Centre Instructor/Centre Manager**

**Purpose of the job**

1.1 To support the Instructor in all aspects of delivering the Kumon Connect Digital Maths and English learning programmes on Zoom calls during class time in the Kumon educational centre.

**Line Management**

2.1 There is no line management responsibility within this role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

3.1 To assist in setting up and clearing down the classroom in a timely manner to ensure the environment is ready for activity when the first student arrives.

3.2 To supervise correspondence students and ensure they work effectively via Zoom.

3.3 To accurately mark and record correspondence student’s work and complete reporting methods as and when required.

3.4 To liaise and maintain positive working relationships with parents via WhatsApp and Zoom as and when required.

3.5 To provide a professional online service for the centre; welcoming students, allocating breakout rooms, dealing with minor technical issues.

3.6 To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working times at weekends for which overtime would be awarded.

3.7 To work with, abide and to positively promote all Salisbury Kumon Centre’s policies and procedures including but not limited to safeguarding & health and safety matters.

3.8 To carry out all reasonable duties as and when requested by the Instructor or Centre Manager.
