**Location**: Watford
**Salary Range**:£23,114 with the opportunity to progress to £23,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
**Hours**: 37 per week
**Contract**: Permanent

Do you want to help older people in your local community? In this role you will be responsible for transporting members of the public & school children between their homes and various locations in the county, safely and politely.

**Purpose of the role**:
You will be responsible for transporting elderly services users and students to and from their homes to day services/schools in a safe and caring manner.

We are looking for people with a caring and professional approach.

**Challenges and opportunities**:
You will need to be able to assist passengers on and off the vehicle including wheelchair users and be able to work unsupervised with a ‘can do’ attitude.

To follow pre-prepared routes, ensuring timings are kept to schedule, and passengers are transported safely and efficiently.

**Technical skills and qualifications required for the role**:
You must be a confident and safe driver with experience in driving both manual and automatic vehicles. You must be licenced to drive minibus-type vehicles with a D1 category licence. A driving assessment will be required, if offered the position.
