Greenhouse /horticultural Worker

**Job Title**: Greenhouse Worker / Horticultural Worker

**Salary**:£9.50ph Monday to Friday

£9.50ph Weekends

**Location**: Horsham

**Hours**:Monday to Friday - 07.30 - 16:30

Potential for Overtime at the weekends

**The Role and Duties**

This role is based in the Horsham area. Own transport would be needed due to location.
- Working on the potting machine
- Working on the transplanting machine
- Price labelling plants
- Choosing the best plants to make up an order
- Transporting trolleys of plants around the nursery
- Loading and unloading trolleys

**Experience and Qualifications**

Plant nursery experience is preferred, If not, then someone with experience of landscape gardening or someone who has had an allotment

You must be reliable and punctual as it can affect the whole production if people are late or don’t show up for work.

You must be happy working on your feet and in a cold environment.

**Training**

Basic company induction will be given on day 1. After this you will have training as you go. Those who show the most potential can be moved to other areas of production with more responsibility and potential to be offered a permanent role.
