To deliver Ambulance related consumables and stock to Ambulance sites across EEAST of England.

To maintain ambulance station clinical area stock items to agreed levels, following a schedule of count, delivery and shelf replenishment. To assist the Supervisor with Receipt and Distribution tasks as when required. To place ad-hoc orders with NHS Supply Chain as and when required. To place orders for stock materials management lines to agreed stock levels, and when required in compliance with agreed Trust product rationalisation/standardisation. The post holder will be required to investigate discrepancies, solve problems, contact suppliers and relay information to station and departmental managers.

Due to internal promotion, East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Supplies Inventory Assistant for its stores in Letchworth.

To be suitable for the role you will need to be I.T literate, flexible, hardworking, physically fit and be able to drive a C1 vehicle. You will also need to be a team player willing to go the extra mile for our customers and patients to maintain the excellent standards of customer care and delivery currently achieved by the service.

The role supports the Ambulance Service through the ordering, picking and delivery of consumables, drugs and PPE to Ambulance Stations across East of England.

The Supplies Team within Letchworth have a vital role in ensuring the supply of stock to Ambulance Stations across East of England.
